Welcome to my Closet!

Hey Welcome to my new blog! I decided to restart my blog, calling it a different name of course for a "fresh start." I decided that since I am in the fashion business and pretty much spend everyday doing fashion related research or hands on work, I might as well share with you some of my style too! Now you may not like some of it, which is of course fine, after all I am confused about where I am from. After years of living in a ridiculous amount of places, and experiencing mind blowing amounts of different cultures and climates, I guess I would say I'm from a little bit of everywhere.

I am currently in the Middle East where fashion is a big deal! Here in the UAE people love to shop, and I mean LOVE to shop. There are malls the size of small countries and contain every store you could probably ever think of. So yeah thats right my friends, its paradise.

When it comes to my personal style, I love to mix things up. I love mixing high end and high street, I love to be casual yet chic, urban yet classy and a lot of the time I like to be sexy and edgy.

I will put up regular posts of my outfits (when I'm not in my PJ's or gym clothes) and I would love for you to comment:) Here is some of this past weeks outfits......

I was loving blue this week. Sometimes I get hooked on colors and realize I have worn them way too much! This week I wore my blue patterned pants twice (i know it such a sin:) and went all colorful in a gypsy skirt.

I am all about denim this month. Denim shirts, shorts, washed jeans,

you name it! Here are some of my past weeks denim outfits. Pair a button down with a shirt or shorts for a night out, add camo to denim for a 90's grunge look, rock out a jumpsuit and layer with oversize jacket or blazer, put on boyfriend jeans for those lazy days and add color pops to faded jeans.

I'm also loving the denim sneakers and denim studded jackets, just haven't found them here yet...

How do you wear your denim?

I love mixing fabrics and textures, and I thought my outfit today was a good example! Some people hate these patterned pants but I love them! They are so fun and comfortable. There really are no rules right now on pattern and fabric mixing so feel free to experiment. I went with a denim shirt, which may seem weird to some of you but I love denim button downs and I believe you can pretty much wear them with anything! I added my All saints biker boots and my yellow Coach for a pop of color.

So I have owned this striped, cropped jacket from Bershka for a good few months now but totally forgot about it! Today I had several meetings, and went to a press conference so needed something smart but funky (of course). I thought what would be better that a cool cropped jacket, thats when I found this baby lurking in my wardrobe. I got super excited and threw it on with my rocking studded booties and my new necklace. Win?
